What we collect
When you submit our application form or send us a message via the contact form, we collect: your name, email, phone (if you choose to provide it), city and province, household information you describe, and the answers you give in the form.
How we use it
We use this information solely to evaluate whether to place a kitten with you, communicate about availability and the adoption process, and (if you proceed) to administer the purchase agreement.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Who sees it
Form submissions are delivered to our private email (Microsoft 365). The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Content is managed in Sanity. Outbound emails go through Resend. Each of these services processes data only as needed to deliver the service.
How long we keep it
Application data is kept for up to five years for our records (we sometimes need to verify that a former buyer is bringing back a cat under our take-back clause). General contact-form messages we delete within twelve months unless they led to a placement.
Cookies & analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracker.
Your rights (PIPEDA)
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask us to: tell you what we have about you, correct any inaccuracies, or delete it. Email info@siberiantale.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
